We offer consultations, supervision, and regular  CEU trainings for other mental health professionals.

 

  • OKSRI is an AASECT approved provider for continuing education.
  • OKSRI is a board approved CEU provider for LPC/LMFTs in Oklahoma.
  • OKSRI is a board approved CEU provider for LCSWs in Oklahoma.

Consultation

OKSRI clinicians are available for consultation with other mental health professionals regarding working with clients on issues such as, but not limited to, issues related to sexual dysfunction, erectile issues, low desire, desire discrepancy in relationships, sexuality, and other psychosexual issues. Additionally, we are available for consultation regarding non-monogamous relationship structures.

Supervision

Dr. Stevens and Victoria James are board-approved LPC supervisors and can provide supervision for LPC Candidates. Additionally, as a licensed Oklahoma psychologist, Dr. Stevens can also provide supervision for licensed psychologist candidates.

Sexual Health Certificate Program

We have developed a 150-hour program that will help participants meet the sex therapy training and human sexuality educational requirements needed to become an AASECT-certified sex therapist. This 12-month program includes online and in-person learning opportunities with AASECT-certified instructors.

Our Trainings

OKSRI is proud to offer various continuing education trainings throughout the year to other mental health professionals.

Each training is $50 and only one ticket for each training may be purchased by one individual.

Fall 2024 Schedule

Saturday, September 21st

Kink Series – Introduction to Kink.BDSM.Fetish
9 am – 12 pm | Participants may attend in-person or virtually.

This series starts with an introduction into Kink.BDSM.Fetish practice. Participants will learn about general aspects of these practices to increase their competence when working with this population. Participants will learn about various forms of Kink.BDSM.Fetish as well as have the opportunity to reflect on personal responses. Increased knowledge and personal reflection regarding the practice of Kink.BDSM.Fetish contributes to more ethical practice.

 

Saturday, October 5th

Kink Series – Kink.BDSM.Fetish in Therapy
9 am – 12 pm | Participants may attend in-person or virtually.

The second part in this series focuses on working with Kink.BDSM.Fetish in the therapy room. DSM-5 disorders and Kink.BDSM.Fetish will be addressed with a focus on helping clinicians learn how to assess for the differences between a paraphilia and paraphilic Disorder. Participants will learn about best practices when working with Kink.BDSM.Fetish clients and challenges Kink.BDSM.Fetish clients might experience.

 

Thursday, October 17th

Conception, Pregnancy, and Beyond: Mental Health and Relationships in the Family Journey
1 pm – 4 pm | Participants may attend in-person or virtually.

This comprehensive training explores the profound psychological and relational shifts that occur from the moment people begin trying to start a family through pregnancy and the postpartum period. Designed for mental health professionals, this course provides insight into the emotional, mental health, and relational challenges individuals and couples face during these pivotal life transitions. Attendees will gain practical tools for supporting clients navigating fertility struggles, pregnancy, postpartum adjustments, and the evolving dynamics of intimate relationships throughout these stages.
