Ashe Middleton, LPC Candidate
I am a Licensed Professional Counseling Candidate. I approach therapy as a collaborative process between the therapist and client/s and believe that you are the expert of your own life. I value diversity, community, and authenticity. I am passionate about advocating for and working with the BGLTQIA + community. I am kink informed, non-monogamy affirming, and sex worker allied. I provide a sex-positive environment for those who are working to understand themselves better, whether that be regarding sexuality, gender, mental health, and other aspects of identity. I work with individuals, couples, multi-partnered systems, and families. I have a background working with teens in the LGBTQ+ community and their families, as well as a history of educating this population to bridge the gap between parents and their children who hold these identities. In addition, I work with children and teens who exhibit problematic sexual behaviors and I have been trained in the modality of Problematic Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth.
