Sacred Wounds: Treating Religious Trauma in the Bible Belt

What does it mean to heal from religious trauma in a place where faith is often inseparable from identity, family, and community? This training offers an accessible overview of religious trauma through the lens of the Bible Belt, where clients may face unique barriers to healing, including social pressure, isolation, and ongoing exposure to harmful beliefs. Participants will gain insight into the clinical impact of religious harm and leave with practical tools to support clients navigating deconstruction, grief, and the search for safety and belonging.
